A tapered Torx wedge screw expands the wooden handle within the hammer eye hole to secure the head. The hammer is made up of a Torx wedge screw, a steel head with polished faces and black powder coat finish, a steel collar with red powder coat finish, and a hickory handle with clear coat finish.
