Tekton thin wall impact flip sockets are ideal for wheel service. Use a 3 inch impact extension to connect the flip socket to a 1/2 inch drive impact tool. Flip the socket to change sizes. They are both longer and have lower stepped shoulders than competitors to give you maximum reach into lug nut wells. The radiused corners prevent fastener round-off by applying force to the flat sides of a lug nut, rather than its corners. The steep 60-degree chamfered opening makes it easy for the flip socket to slide over lug nuts. The well on each socket is extra deep with thin walls to provide increased engagement with lug nuts and clearance for decorative caps. The outer diameter is 1 to 2 mm smaller than other Tekton impact sockets. The size is marked in two ways on every flip socketboth as a high-visibility laser marking and a permanent stamped marking. This set includes 10 common socket sizes needed for servicing cars, trucks, utility trailers, and more. The set also includes a 3 inch impact extension and a carrying case that withstands common lubricants, fuels, and solvents.
